Eric R. George, M.D. is a native of Huntington, West Virginia, and received his medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia. He completed a General Trauma Surgery Residency at Michigan State University. He then completed a Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Grand Rapids Area Medical Education Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Subsequently, Dr. George completed a Phoenix Integrated Hand Surgery Fellowship, with rotations at Barrows Neurological Institute, Good Samaritan, and Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. He has contributed numerous articles for hand journals and educational textbooks. Dr. George is a member of many national, regional, state, and local medical societies including: the Microsurgical Reconstructive Surgery Society, the American Association for Hand Surgery, and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
